Digi Awards

At school we have been doing Digi Awards we tried hard to do a blurb so heres our blurb

During term 2 we learnt about everyday heroes. And different types of heroes like everyday heroes and idols. We planned what we would do and then we made a storyboard because we picked ripple effect we had to learn the lines and then rehearse them. First We did a plan about who is an everyday hero and why and  what are there jobs and what they did. We planned out our actions and then we practiced our script. We worked completely collaboratively to try and encourage people to become everyday heroes.

Something I learnt is everyday heroes can be ordinary people that can do extraordinary things.

Book Character Day

Today at school we had book character day book character day. it is when we dress up as somebody in a book i dressed up in Darth Vader from star wars I in love him so much. heres my dress up he is the father to lukeskywalker.

Every Day Hero Sign

We have been learning about Everyday Heroes. We had to make a sign for our Digi Awards about Everyday Heroes.
I love doing art but i'm not good with pastels.

Ages ago we done a best part of me and we took a photo of my hands because its my best part of me.

Hands 

I need my hands to swim.

I need my hands to climb.

I need my hands to horse ride.

 I need my hands to hold ice cold water.                   
I need my hands to paint.                  

I need my  hands to pat a dog.

I need my hands to pat my cat.

I need my hands to pat a horse. 

I need my hands to pat a pig. 

I love my hands.

Hero Poem

First we wrote rhyming words in our books about heroes. Then I started to create my poem and then I put it all together. Here is mine.

Hero Poem.

Everyday heroes make you responsible.

Then make you impossible.

They help you learn

Then you will earn

They make you love your mum

Then you will hum

Heroes are loving and playing

They are all ways sharing and caring

Everyday heroes are a superhero

And they can be zero

Heroes are protecting

But we should never forget that heroes are always  helping.

New Zealand Flag Debate

Last term we learnt about the New Zealand Flag Debate. We looked at our current flag and we came up with our own new ideas for New Zealand. We did 3 prototypes here is a picture of my final design.

Ben Scott - better angle. Change the Union Jack back round and change the koro
Chyna's feedback - Put a bigger kiwi and make it neater

I put a koru on it  because it's part of our Maori culture. I put blue on it because it is the water.

I put 4 stars because it's already on our flag. I put the Union Jack because it's already on our flag.
